G.Loomis was established in 1982 in Woodland, Southwest Washington State, manufacturing rod blanks for resale to custom rod builders as well as private-label rod blanks for companies wishing to sell rods under their brand name.
In 1997, G.Loomis became a subsidiary of Shimano American Corporation (current Shimano North America Holding, Inc.) and Shimano began to create a dynamic stable of brands of fishing line, apparel, reels and rods.
Now G.Loomis is manufacturing all types of fishing rods in Woodland with one goal in mind― to provide serious anglers worldwide with the finest fishing tools available everywhere in the world.
