The Sport Fishing Championship and CBS have agreed to a multi-year deal that includes two hours of live final day tournament coverage on the CBS Sports Network. Beginning with the first regular-season event from Grand Isle, Louisiana, from April 28-30, 2022
The Sport Fishing Championship offers a 12-event competition series that awards one grand champion in the sport of offshore fishing. Teams earn points based on their placement in each qualifying tournament plus are awarded additional points for every qualified catch throughout the season. The continual growth of tournament fishing and large broadcasting deals can only help conservation efforts to ensure the health of large fish for generations to come
