Daiwa would like you to stop buying counterfeit products.

In a note on their website the manufacturer points out a fraudulent company selling counterfeit Daiwa products. As you can see, the fraudulent website clearly shows Daiwa products using the same images of real Daiwa products used on the real Daiwa website.  

Digging a little deeper you can find that the fraudulent website is registered by someone in China and the details on the website are very sketchy. Not sure why they have not been reported to Paypal and the hosting provider. Those online services would shut down the fraudulent sellers this pretty fast.

But perhaps having a fraudulent website helps with keeping those premium priced reel prices up at Daiwa.
